Who Is Ken Bell?

Who is Ken Bell?  Kenneth Bell is the ZeekRewards receiver, but many of you want to know who he REALLY is.  He is a lawyer that works at McGuireWoods LLP.  He currently works in the Government, Regulatory and Criminal Investigations Department, in which he currently represents clients that are being investigated.  Normally, those clients are Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Kenneth Bell seems to be very highly respected and acknowledged in his field.  Among many other achievements and honors, Mr. Bell was named "North Carolina "Super Lawyer," 2010-2012".  His experience as a lawyer dates back to 1983, so he has been "in the business" for a while now.

Even though we have not been informed of any further dealings with the ZeekRewards information that he has acquired from the court ruling, I think we can trust that he will continue to support those that have lost money in Zeek.  Mr. Kenneth Bell will continue to post updates on the Zeek Rewards Receivership website.  Please do not contact him personally.  Only contact him on the appropriate site so your questions can be addressed correctly and not be lost in the shuffle of all the other work currently on his plate.

I Want to Hear From Former ZeekRewards Affiliates

I want to hear from former ZeekRewards affiliates.  What was your experience while being an affiliate?  Did you have a good experience?  I know MANY people are saying they had a great experience while in Zeek, and they did not see this coming at all.  Then there are others that say they thought something was fishy, but just couldn't put their finger on it.  Tell everyone your experience in the comments section.  More news coming soon!

Just Received This Email from NCDOJ.gov

Information about Zeekler/Zeek Rewards
Based on complaints filed by consumers, last month we issued a civil investigative demand to Zeekler, a penny auction website based in Lexington, NC, seeking records so we could examine its business practices. We have started receiving those documents and are continuing to investigate the company.
Zeekler apparently shut down its website and closed its doors overnight, leaving many consumers with questions.
On August 17, 2012, Rex Venture Group, the parent company of Zeekler and Zeek Rewards, entered into a settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The SEC alleged that Rex Venture Group was engaged in the unregistered sale of securities. Our office had expressed concerns about Zeekler publicly as well as to federal law enforcement. A receiver has been appointed to take over the business.
Consumers who are part of Zeekler should contact the receiver appointed by the court to handle the company’s assets. We will share the receiver’s contact information as soon as it becomes available.
If someone offers you the opportunity to buy into a business, remember:
· Be skeptical of high earnings claims
· Be especially cautious if the focus is on recruiting new members and selling products or services to them as they join.
· Check out the company with our office and the Better Business Bureau. You can contact our Consumer Protection Division at 1-877-5-NO-SCAM or ncdoj.gov/.
· And if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Paul Burks settled with SEC

Here is a direct quote:  "Burks has agreed to settle the SEC's charges against him without admitting or denying the allegations, and agreed to cooperate with a court-appointed receiver."

Zeek is Done ... or Is IT?

Possible Ponzi Scheme determination by the SEC....stay tuned!!  Or is it just a bunch of hype??  I know a lot of you have bought a lot of bids, and are hoping and praying that this claim is false.  Zeek had stated that they are NOT an investment company.  So claims that they are, in my opinion, an investment are false.  I will keep you posted...

**Update** - ZeekRewards and Zeekler have been shut down by the SEC.
